The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), an autonomous R&D body under the Department of Telecommunications, organised a Demo Day for 18 startups in its Samarth incubation program. All 18 showcased outcomes aligned with problem statements, and five were selected for the next stage of support: Turtleneck Systems & Solutions, Purvanchal Engineering Systems, Vital Carbon, Agriverse Innovations, and Jumps Automation. Each startup will receive grants of up to ₹5 lakh, six months of office space at C-DOT Delhi and Bengaluru campuses, access to lab facilities, and structured mentorship.
Launched in March 2025, Samarth supports startups in telecom, 5G/6G, cybersecurity, AI, IoT, and quantum technologies. The program, run in collaboration with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), combines C-DOT scientists’ mentoring with industry-led acceleration sessions on product development, market strategies, legal/IP, and fundraising.
By strengthening early-stage innovation in strategic technologies, Samarth aligns with India’s Digital India and Atmanirbhar Bharat goals. The initiative fosters a pipeline of indigenous telecom and ICT solutions, enhancing India’s technological sovereignty and startup ecosystem.
What is C-DOT? → The Centre for Development of Telematics is a premier telecom technology development centre established in 1984. It designs indigenous telecom solutions, supports strategic R&D, and implements innovation programs for India’s digital infrastructure.
