The Prime Minister, will inaugurate India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 on 8 October at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, New Delhi. With the theme “Innovate to Transform,” the event highlights India’s progress toward self-reliance in telecom and digital technologies, focusing on 6G development, AI, cybersecurity, satellite communication, IoT, and domestic manufacturing.
The four-day conference (8–11 October) will host over 1.5 lakh visitors, 7,000 global delegates, and 400+ exhibitors from 150 countries.
Key highlights include six major summits:
– Bharat 6G Symposium, showcasing India’s leadership in 6G research;
– AI Summit, focused on network intelligence and digital services;
– Cybersecurity Summit, addressing protection for 1.2 billion telecom users;
– SatCom Summit, exploring next-generation satellite communication;
– IMC Aspire Programme, connecting 500 startups with 300 investors; and
– Global Startup World Cup – India Edition, offering a USD 1 million investment opportunity.
IMC 2025 underlines India’s evolution from a consumer of global technologies to a creator of digital solutions. By spotlighting 6G research, indigenous manufacturing, and startup ecosystems, it reinforces national priorities under Digital India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and the National Broadband Mission. The event also deepens international collaboration in standards, innovation, and investment.
What is India Mobile Congress (IMC)? IMC is an annual technology and telecom event organised by the Department of Telecommunications and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI). It serves as Asia’s largest platform for industry collaboration, showcasing advances in communication technology and digital innovation.
