The Lok Sabha Speaker, Shri Om Birla, will lead India’s parliamentary delegation to the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) in Bridgetown, Barbados (5–12 Oct 2025). He is slated to address the General Assembly on the theme “The Commonwealth: A Global Partner”. He will also chair a workshop on “Leveraging Technology: Enhancing Democracy through Digital Transformations and Tackling the Digital Divide”, and interact with counterparts from other Commonwealth nations to deepen parliamentary cooperation.
