The 3rd Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS 2025), held from 25–29 September 2025 at Greater Noida, concluded with record outcomes. Organized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh with FIEO as nodal agency, the 5-day event facilitated 31,650 B2B meetings between Indian exporters and international buyers. Over 3,900 MoUs were signed, valued at USD 425 million (₹2,680 crore), with further business potential estimated at ₹12,500 crore.
The show drew participation from 88 countries, including major partners like the US, UK, France, Japan, South Korea, UAE, and regional neighbours Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Kenya. More than 2,400 sellers from Uttar Pradesh showcased products in handicrafts, textiles, engineering, food, pharma, and electronics. According to FIEO President S.C. Ralhan, the momentum reflects growing international confidence in India’s trade potential and positions Uttar Pradesh as a key driver of India’s export growth story.
The surge in MoUs at UPITS demonstrates how state-led trade promotion platforms can complement national schemes like the Foreign Trade Policy 2023 and Districts as Export Hubs initiative, reinforcing India’s goal of achieving USD 2 trillion in exports by 2030.
What is FIEO? → The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) is an apex trade body set up jointly by the Ministry of Commerce and private sector to promote and support India’s exports globally.
