India is set to host the 9th India Mobile Congress (IMC 2025) from 8–11 October at New Delhi, under the theme “Innovate to Transform.” More than 400 companies, about 7,000 global delegates, and roughly 1.5 lakh visitors from over 150 countries are expected to participate. The event will spotlight advancements in 6G, quantum communications, semiconductors, optical networks, and cyber fraud prevention. Over 1,600 new use-cases across AI, smart mobility, cybersecurity, quantum computing and green tech will be showcased in 100+ sessions with 800+ speakers. The congress, organized by DoT and COAI, underscores India’s ambition to anchor its digital sovereignty and global technology ambitions.
IMC 2025 signals India’s strategic push to position itself as a hub for telecom and digital innovation, reinforcing commitments under Digital India and national semiconductor ambition.
The India Mobile Congress is Asia’s largest telecom-technology annual event, bringing industry, government, and global stakeholders together to demonstrate emerging tech and foster collaboration. It matters as a platform for India to project its innovation capacity and attract investment in next-gen digital infrastructure.
