Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh launched the Curtain Raiser of the Emerging Science, Technology & Innovation Conclave (ESTIC-2025), themed “Imagine, Innovate, Inspire for Viksit Bharat 2047.” Scheduled for 3–5 November 2025 at New Delhi, the conclave will be India’s first integrated platform bringing together scientists, policymakers, industry leaders, and startups to chart the country’s scientific roadmap toward a developed India by 2047.
ESTIC-2025 is a whole-of-government initiative led by the Ministry of Science & Technology and coordinated by the Principal Scientific Adviser’s Office. It brings together 13 ministries and departments to design cross-sectoral innovation roadmaps linking research with national development goals.
The event will feature 11 thematic sessions covering frontier areas -semiconductors, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, biotechnology, space, and clean energy - each aligned to India’s strategic autonomy and long-term innovation capacity. The conclave will provide a stage for young innovators and startups to showcase technologies, find mentorship, and build collaborations with government and industry stakeholders.
ESTIC-2025 marks a shift from siloed R&D to an integrated, mission-oriented innovation ecosystem, connecting labs with markets and policy with entrepreneurship. By aligning emerging technologies with national priorities, from clean energy to digital governance, it supports the goal of making science the backbone of India’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
