The Government of Haryana has announced major initiatives to strengthen its industrial and startup ecosystem. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini launched plans for a world-class incubator, H-HUB, equipped with advanced R&D facilities, prototyping centres, and AI innovation hubs in Gurugram and Panchkula. Dedicated policies will support semiconductor manufacturing, Global Capability Centres, and women-led startups, while a new Department of Future will drive AI, robotics, biotechnology, and deep-tech adoption.
In parallel, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated Asia’s largest lithium-ion battery manufacturing project at IMT Sohna, established by ATL Battery Technology (India) Pvt. Ltd., with over ₹3,000 crore investment and 5,000 direct jobs. These initiatives align with Haryana’s industrial policies and India’s larger goal of becoming a global hub for technology, clean energy, and innovation.
Relevant question for policy stakeholders: How can Haryana’s integrated policies on startups, semiconductors, and clean energy manufacturing be scaled nationally to strengthen India’s role in global supply chains?
