A performance-based Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), establishing a Revenue from Operations target of ₹8,200 crore for Financial Year 2025-26.
The MoU follows IREDA’s strong performance in FY 2024-25, where it surpassed its ₹5,957 crore target by achieving ₹6,743.32 crore in revenue. Alongside revenue, the agreement includes comprehensive performance metrics such as Return on Net Worth, Return on Capital Employed, NPA-to-Total Loans ratio, Asset Turnover Ratio, and EBITDA targets.
IREDA has consistently earned an “Excellent” MoU rating over the past four years, from FY 2020-21 onwards. In FY 2023-24, it emerged as the top performer among NBFCs in the power sector and ranked among the top four CPSEs across all sectors, according to the Department of Public Enterprises.
